About J.I.M.F
-
JIMF started in 2000, known as the Jersey Festival of Motoring. Over the years the event has grown into a 4 day, celebration with something for all of all of the family to enjoy.
Inspiration for the event stems from the Jersey International Road Race that ran between 1947 and 1952, however Jersey’s rich history in Motorsport allows aspects of almost every discipline of motoring into the event. -
JIMF is an entirely volunteer-led organisation. Built for a shared passion of the island and its deep connection to motoring culture.
The core team of volunteers has remained stable since the events inception in 2000, headed by Steve Salmon (Pictured) , Robert Surcouf along with the members of the Classic and Vintage Motor Racing Club of Jersey and their families who all work tirelessly year on year to make the event happen.
Between them, the organising team have in excess of 100 years of combined experience of running motorsports events. -

JIMF is committed to growing the event to support the wellbeing of Islanders, the environment, the local economy and our motoring community both in Jersey and overseas.
To do this, we are aiming at introducing Sustainable fuels to the event for all competitive vehicles, tackling the issues of single use plastic waste in our food areas well as maintaining the events status as free to attend to aid the social well being of families and individuals.
